Originally shipped to Stuart Florida on or about June 2005.

A comparable Generac Guardian Unit ((next size up)17Kw w/Steel Case and NO transfer switch)) has an MSRP of $3389.00 plus freight ($400+), plus taxes (????).

Buy this one for $1400 and save a ton of money (nearly $2000).

Unit was removed and replaced with a larger unit (twice the size).

The owner had expanded his home by almost 2/3 and wanted "everything" running.

Unit will ship without fuel hookup or battery.  They are NOT included.

Note: a small propane tank (shown) is not sufficient to run this size machine for any length of time.

A full size tank must be installed for good measure.  This unit can be run on Natural gas if available.

Your Propane dealer can set you up properly, in accordance to manual recommendations.

Propane pressure AT the generator should be set to 12 inches of water column.

Manual in PDF format is included.

Note the "silver" exhaust pipes indicating that this machine was run with the proper fuel settings.

If they were black and corroded or rusty, the unit would have had bad fuel settings.

Generator is being sold as-is without any warranty declared or implied.

Generator does run and produces 240+ volts line to line at 60HZ+

Generator also produces 120V to ground on both line legs.

Generator uses 10W30 High Detergent Synthetic Mobil 1 oil.

The engine is a 2 cylinder 3600 RPM Generac Engine and uses 2 each Champion RC12YC plugs.

Steel Case, very little rust.

Unit should be mounted on a small cement pad.

A manual transfer switch must be used to be safe.  Available at the Home Depot for about $100.00 or on Ebay for about $100.00 plus shipping.

Your electrician will know what to do. 

An Automatic Generac Transfer switch can be purchased from a Generac Dealer or online on Ebay.

Buyer pays shipping costs. Example: Shipping from Florida to Maine is about $412.00 to a Loading Dock.

The generator will be lagged to a Pallet and protected in a cardboard box.
