Voltage Regulator Information

The voltage regulator controls the speed of the machine to provide proper voltage and 60Hz.

When running the generator should deliver 60 Hz and roughly 240 phase to phase.

In order to function, the voltage regulator gets it power (sourced from) from the DPE winding.

The DPE winding circuit has a circuit breaker in series with the winding. (CB2)

Wire 4 provides RUNNING voltage to the Field Brushes to control the voltage and cycles in the stator winding. (there should be a positive voltage here)

Wires 6 and 162 are the DPE winding circuit. This circuit provides an AC voltage to power the Voltage Regulator.
Note: The actual DPE winding is on Wires 2 and 6, the circuit includes a circuit breaker (CB2) tied to Wire 2 and comes out as Wire 162.

Wires 11 and 22 are the STATOR winding circuit.  The voltage regulator senses this winding for proper voltage adjustment.

Wire 0 is the ground reference.
